National Small Business Vote Chamber launched
Small business is about to get a big voice. The National Small Business
Vote Chamber is an online voting forum just for business managers and
owners. Chambers of commerce and business associations are now being
invited to register at
www.votechamber.com
to gain voting access for their members.
Operating automatically, VoteChamber harvests and ranks opinions and
issues daily from business people. Only business people can vote but all
can see the daily results.
The business voice for each chamber of commerce or business association,
electorate, state and for the whole country can be isolated with a
single click. The issues of the day in each business category are also
transparent.
VoteChamber is a strategic alliance between BigPulse.com and Potter
Consultants Pty Ltd. Mike Potter is the former CEO of the Council of
Small Business Organisations of Australia Ltd (COSBOA).
"The transparent interactive nature of this live poll is very exciting.
It means there is no risk of any individual, committee or industry body
controlling the issues agenda or selectively voicing the consensus
view," said Mike Potter.
Any small business owner or operator can join the forum at
www.votechamber.com and submit opinions directly into the online voting
chambers in the form of concise statements called 'placards'. All
placards compete continuously for votes from business people across the
country and are ranked live in transparent opinion leaderboards.
It is a high security patented online interactive poll that works like
an
Opinion Market - transparent, continuous and competitive voting.
The polls operate automatically without a pollster, authority or any
individual setting the agenda. The power to control the issues agenda is
distributed evenly across all forum members - in this case small
business people across the country. It's the first time in history that
an entire population sector has had equal control of the issues agenda.
"As soon as a critical mass of managers participate the small business
Opinion Market will take on a life of its own, just like a financial
market, beyond the control of any individual," said founder Ralph McKay.
VoteChamber is one of many Industry Forums being launched by BigPulse.com.
