Contary to general misconception, the framers specifically stated that funding for religious schools was prohibited! In fact any form of legislation dealing with religion was prohibited. Section 116 of the Constitution merely was as a further safeguard but was not needed as the general prohibition already existed without Section 116.
therefore, any policies to provide religious schools with funding is unconstitutional. likewise funding for restoration for a church, tax deductions in regard of donations for religious organisations, etc.
