Poll Group: 2021 Tucker Middle Principal Advisory Council Election

Poll: Teacher Representative
Corey Williams

For the past 10 years I have had the honor to serve this school and this community. I have been the basketball coach and volunteered anywhere as needed when called upon by the community. Dr. Cunningham has been a major part of the success of this school and her successor has to exhibit some of her key characteristic traits in order to continue the success of the school. My heart is with the Tucker community and I deeply care about the future of the school and would be honored to serve on the council.

Edline Augustin

I began teaching in 1996 in Miami, Florida. As an elementary teacher, I've taught various grade levels including Gifted, Alternative Ed., and French. I've served as ELL Resource Personnel, Adult Ed. ESOL Coordinator, EESAC Chair, PD Liaison, and SIP Team Writer. Additionally, I've volunteered yearly as PTA teacher representative. Presently, I'm the World Language Department Chair, IB, and SIP Committee member. Two years ago, I co-coordinated our school's successful International Night event. I wish to serve on the Principal Advisory Council because I believe in its purpose of federating all stakeholders, which is the key to strengthening our school community.

Erica Gilzeane

Deriving from generations of teachers, teaching was always my goal and ultimate passion. I have a desire to help students and assist them with accomplishing their dreams. As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., I understand the importance of giving back to your community and being a service to ALL mankind. I have volunteered at food banks, homeless shelters, animal shelters, school drives in addition to many others. Serving on the Principal Advisory Council would afford me the ability to merge two components of my life that mean the most; school and community. It would be an honor.

Poll Group: 2021 Wynbrooke Theme Elementary Principal Advisory Council Election

Poll: Teacher Representative
Adriena Long

I never really considered myself for this position before but it was suggested to me by a colleague to be the voice of Teachers. I do try to keep a pulse on what is going on in Dekalb County and the board meetings and report that back to the teachers. I also serve on the Leadership Committee as a Co Grade Chair which is another way I am a liason between administration and the teachers. I have a servant's heart and a special place in my heart for teachers.

Gigeta Utley

I wish to serve on Principal Advisory Council to serve all the stakeholders of Wynbrooke. I enjoy working with our parents as partners and look forward to strengthening our school community. As an educator, I look forward to an opportunity where I can sit down and make beneficial decisions for the good of Wynbrooke. I would also like to find ways to tap into our community partners to help to build their relationship with WES.
