Real Estate Experience
Having joined the Real Estate and Property Management sectors in 2000, I established Release Property Management in Geelong in 2007, opening two further Real Estate offices in 2013 and 2019.
My business has steadily grown over the years, focusing on engaging and training quality staff who subsequently provide a premier service to our clients. My business has been built on a natural nutrition of recommendations.
My first award from the former REIV Geelong Division was Young Achiever of the Year in 2008, followed by Property Manager of the Year in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and Agency of the Year in 2012.
In 2013 I received the award for Geelong Small Business of the Year and REIA Small Residential Agency of the Year and in 2016 I was awarded the Geelong Medium Business of the Year.
Entering these awards gave me a chance to focus on my business model and how to improve it at each review. A fresh look at the future going forward and looking for opportunities to grow and succeed.

Other Roles, Directorships, Charitable and Voluntary Work
Past Chair of the former REIV Geelong Division
Past Secretary of the former REIV Geelong Division
Active involvement in charities such as Jeans for Genes, Run for Charity, RSPCA Paws Walk and It’s in the Bag.
Prior to entering the Real Estate profession, I ran my own Ballroom Dancing School. I was an Australian and International champion for many years.

Develop New Training Techniques and Opportunities to empower Members to give their businesses the winning edge.

Top 3 Challenges for the REIV
Continue to be responsive and adapt quickly to change and innovation. Also be a catalyst for change rather than adapting to change.
Understanding the changes and definitions in the most recent Residential Tenancies Act. Simplify the explanations and educate Members.
Changing the current perception of the REIV and continue to increase Member numbers.

Reasons for Nominating
I have enthusiasm and a proactive approach to contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the REIV Board. I am a listener, proactive and would embrace positive change and innovation for the benefit of the Real Estate Industry. To focus on increasing REIV membership and keep REIV at the forefront of the industry. I would bring my day to day and hands on knowledge and experience of business challenges to the table.

Other Information
Having been in the Real Estate Industry for over 20 years, my agency and business philosophy has always been “to be the best” and continue to achieve. Owning, running and overseeing multiple businesses has given me an abundance of knowledge within the property and business sectors.
