Policy Statement:
If it wasn’t for online degree facilitators, no doors would’ve been open.

As a carpentry apprentice, sweeping dusty floors and tirelessly running errands, I dreamt of one day becoming a construction project manager. I knew how vital tertiary education was to achieve my goal.

Working excessive hours in a full-time role, on-campus study just was not practical to achieving my Bachelor of Construction Management. The University of South Australia’s online based degree offering was the only degree of its kind to provide me the opportunity to attain the credentials needed to pursue my dreams.

Approaching my final year of studies, I am passionate about online course facilitation. As your student representative, I am committed to ensuring a high standard of course delivery is maintained to all online students across multiple disciplines.

Actively acknowledging the benefits of online degree courses, I aim to be your voice for ensuring your learning needs are being met, as you pursue your own personal and professional dreams. I would be honoured to be your student representative.

Policy Statement:
Hello fellow students! I am running for the position of Student Representative for the UniSA Online Campus. My purpose is to give you a sense of community during your university journey. I believe we need more connection and I am here to serve as your voice throughout your degree. As student representative, I know I will bring my passion for organisational and social change to the board.

Policy Statement:
I have been studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Sociology at UniSA online and I am in my third year. I share the challenges of online study with an empathic understanding, but also appreciate how amazing the online experience is with the flexibility. I have travelled and lived in different countries and cities whilst studying. I understand making the choice to study online, whether it be family, full-time work, remote living, flexibility and other reasons. I will assist in ensuring adequate support is provided for wellbeing and belonging.

I have a passion for equality and inclusion within society and that we are all provided with equal opportunities for success. Your academic networking skills can feel restricted with limited face to face connections. I aim to build the reputation of online students and widen their prospects of networking. I will engage your thoughts and be the voice that ensures decisions made for you, include you.

Your experiences and skills are worthy of attention, I will be your student representative that will advocate and dedicate my time to guarantee that all online students feel connected to the UniSA student experience and have the ability to network, socialise, feel supported and empowered.
