Studying abroad in Australia has given me the confidence to become independent. Also, I am very passionate about helping and inspiring others. Since the first year of university, I have been volunteering for the MATES program as a student mentor. Moreover, I have been working for the International Buddy Program since this semester to support overseas and new students. In addition, I am also participating in the LEAD program, which assists me to become a better leader and a change-maker. The possibility of who we could be is limitless, and nothing is impossible as long as we’re willing to have a try and be fearless. Let’s get together and make some amazing things happen in the Western Sydney University community!

My name is Govind Nambiar and I am standing as a candidate for the position of International student representative . I am one of many international students who wants to bring real changes for international students at western Sydney University.
This election presents us all with a clear choice . It is a choice between continuing things the way they have always been done or electing representatives who can bring fresh ideas and perspectives.
I believe my personality and experience as a student ambassador at western Sydney university will help me offer new ideas. Above all I believe my most important job will be to listen to you and to communicate with you regularly.
To all my international fellow beings , I am not saying about ideas that I can bring but rather I promise that I will be always there with you for all your need at the university.

Hi guys, I am an ongoing student, pursing MBA (6th quarter) in Parramatta city campus. Pop into 7th floor of Parramatta city campus and ask for Krishna every 3rd person would know me.
The reason why you should vote me is simple; I get the job done, instead of making any promises. Being in Sydney for nearly 18months I can share you my experiences and knowledge and can create a fun paced environment between the new and ongoing international students. I have always taken interest in local affairs and can involve students actively in the local communities.
I believe, I have the experience and skills which would benefit all the international students and would consider it with a great privilege to serve as an International Rep. If elected, I would perform mu role with energy, enthusiasm and integrity.
