The research and developent funding provided by Governement for the coal and oil industries is prolonging dependence on unsustainable energy resources dangerous to the environment. Geo-sequestration is a desparate and dangerous option. Only funding sustainable energy development and uptake has potentially strong environmental and economic promise.
