The GOVT. has offered 6yr. medal, it must be 2yrs. & include all who wore the uniform, incl. National
Service, CMF/RESERVES, Regulars,for all those who did not do overseas duty.,yet were on standby if called upon for a hostile /war zone.
the Aust.Defence Medal gives these
900000 ex-servies a medal to show they served our country ,Australia,
thus enabling them to march on ANZAC/RESERVE FORCES DAY, & to join
their forces /unit associations.
